Antique cars cruising through town
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - On June 18, there were cars everywhere at Memorial Park. The Antique Car Show and Parade, hosted by the Buffalo Bill Kiwanis, got people full of excitement and joy. Car lovers of all ages came together to look at unique cars in the area with special lightning, unique paint jobs, and detailed car accessories. There were also antique cars and even a van.
During the parade, the cars hit the road for everyone to see. After a year of the coronavirus, many were glad to be there and being able to see the cars in person.
“It makes me feel good,” said Antique Car Parade winner Kevin Gordon.
Some people have been to the show and parade for many years, some even to compete.
“We like to win awards for our cars because we take a lot of pride in them,” said Antique Car Parade winner Lenora Gordon.
