Budweiser Clydesdale to make appearances around eastern Nebraska this week

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A member of one of the most iconic horse teams in America will be making the rounds in the Omaha and Lincoln areas in the coming days.
The Budweiser Clydesdales have been partnering with the nonprofit Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to families of fallen or disabled U.S. military servicemembers and first responders.
This week’s appearances will commemorate that partnership. Here’s where you can get a look:
- Gretna Days from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday
- Saunders County Fair in Wahoo from 5-7 p.m. Thursday
- U-Stop on 84th Street in Lincoln from 4-6 p.m. Friday
- Hy-Vee Shadow Lake from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday
At the U-Stop street event, local distributor Quality Brands and Folds of Honor will be presenting a $5,000 scholarship check.
“Quality Brands has donated to Folds of Honor alongside Anheuser-Busch for many years, including $10,000 in 2023,” a QB spokesman told 6 News.
Housed in St. Louis, the Clydesdales have been an Anheuser-Busch icon for more than 80 years.
The company has come under criticism — and faced consumer backlash — in recent months after partnering its Bud Light brand with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Meanwhile, PETA has been protesting the appearances of the Clydesdales, accusing the company of disfiguring animals to sell beer.
