Lexington Police identify man murdered on city’s east side
LEXINGTON, Neb. (KNOP) - The Lexington Police Department has identified the man murdered on the city’s east side Tuesday.
Lexington Police were called out to the Cypress Lane area east of town in reference to a verbal altercation around 10:45 p.m. and found Maykel Farinas Carballo, 40, inside a vehicle stalled in the front yard of a home.
Police said there were numerous holes in the windshield and front area of the car.
Aristh Rodriguez Linares, 33, was arrested and booked into the Dawson County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony and discharging a firearm into a vehicle or person.
An autopsy of the victim was scheduled for this week.
