Aron Geml joined the NBC Nebraska News 2 team in July 2023 as a News/Sports Reporter.
Aron was born and raised in Fraser Michigan, a suburb of Detroit where he grew up as a passionate sports fan of the four major sports teams.
Aron is a graduate of Central Michigan University and during his time in college and high school he had his own sports talk show, The Hot Seat Sports Talk, where he interviewed more than 50 different guests from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and NCAA.
He loves cheering on his Detroit teams along with playing fantasy football, watching and talking all things Star Wars, playing basketball, golfing and listening to music.
Aron's number one goal is to give people in the community a chance to tell and share their stories.
