Jael is from Trenton, North Carolina - a town with one stoplight. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Public Relations.
Prior to coming to North Platte she was a reporter in Lincoln for two years. Before that, she worked as a newspaper reporter for one year in NC.
Jael says she was bit by the newsbug in middle school - reporting and anchoring for her classmates. Now she is eager to tell stories that impact people and make a difference.
You can always catch her singing, at church, shopping or playing with her new cat Cuppa!
