Jon Allen joined the News 2 team in June 2022. He does a mix of news and sports anchoring and reporting.
He graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
Jon grew up in the small Northwest Montana town of Kalispell, surrounded by the mountains of Glacier National Park. Jon developed a love for sports broadcasting in high school and college days in Montana where he would commentate on local high school sports, and the University of Montana Lacrosse team.
Jon is an avid sports fan who follows the Seattle sports teams, mainly the Seahawks and Sounders FC. He loves to travel and see many different sporting events around the country when he can.
Wherever there is a game you can probably find Jon there.
