Mr. Bush was especially fond of socks, as he often displayed the different pairs he wore to events. For his trip from Washington D. C. to Texas, and to his final resting place, he will wear a pair worthy of mention.
The design displays military jets flying in formation. It's a nod to his service as a young naval aviator in World War Two. Bush's spokesman tweeted a picture of the socks, along with a mention of the U.S.S. George H. W. Bush - the aircraft carrier names after the former president.
