Child advocacy center receives $8,500 donation from Nebraska women

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A group that helps children after suspected child abuse, received a large donation Wednesday morning to help further their mission of protecting Nebraska children.

The group "100 Women Who Care" selected Bridge of Hope Child Advocacy Center to be their second organization this year to get money.

Bridge of Hope is a child advocacy center located in North Platte that serves west and central Nebraska children.

The 100 Women Who Care group said they heard pleas from three groups last month and they selected Bridge of Hope after hearing their speech.

The check was in the amount of $8,500.
