The Nebraska Country Music Foundation hosted the "Nebraska Country Stars" Friday night with performances from Bill Chrastil and the Gene Olson Band.

The night included country music, dancing, food and beverage.
Larcy Allen with the Country Music Foundation said the foundation is dedicated to keep live country music concerts going.

"We are excited and dedicated to keeping this community and family alive, this is a very unique experience being the only country music hall of fame in Nebraska and it's really exciting to get to see these people," said Allen.

Performers will be inducted into the music hall of fame Saturday night as the festival continues. Saturday events include a banquet, Hall of Fame inductions, and performances by the 2019 Nebraska Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees: OK Sisters, John Longoria's West Wind, & Lloyd McCarter & The Honky Tonk Revival.
