NORTH PLATTE, Neb. Boy Scouts in the North Platte area met at the Cody Park Campgrounds, but it wasn't an overnight outing they were gathering for. It was the Boy Scouts of America's Jamboree on the Air on Saturday.
The Jamboree on the Air is the largest scouting event in the world.
Troops from all over set up ham radios to communicate with one another.
Scouts were communicating with people from places like Canada and Pennsylvania.
One scout even got on the line with a Scout Master from Napa Valley, California.
The Jamboree on the Air is an event that takes place every October.
