Thursday an autopsy is scheduled for a 55-year-old man found dead near a grain elevator.
The body was found early Wednesday morning at the Frenchman Valley Co-Op located in Venango.
A passerby saw the body and called authorities.
The name of the deceased has not yet been given.
More information will be released later this week when the autopsy is complete.
A toxicology report has been sent out, but that could take weeks.
Nebraska State Patrol's Troop D and the Perkins County Sheriff's Office responded to the call.
The incident is being investigated as an unattended death.
