NORTH PLATTE, Neb. KNOP-TV Two teens walked away with only minor injuries Tuesday evening after their car crashed into the bank at the Lake Maloney outlet.
This is the second car accident near a body of water in two days.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says 18 year-old Tierson Trisdale was going north on the campsite access road when he lost control of his Chevy Monte Carlo.
The car slid sideways, hit the bank and flipped over on its top.
Trisdale and a 15 year-old female passenger suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
It's believed Trisdale was going more than 45 miles per hour.
The speed limit is 15 mile per hour.
"The gravel surface makes it slick and it's like you're driving on marbles and when you lose control you do nothing but slide," said Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Wayne Connell.
Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
