GOTHENBURG, Neb. (KNOP) - Gothenburg's hospital is quarantining staff after a case of COVID-19 is confirmed in their town.

Gothenburg Health officials say the case is travel-related and is not due to community spread. The individual is a woman in her 40s and is in self-isolation.

Gothenburg Health is quarantining the staff out of an abundance of caution. The hospital says it is financially taking care of all staff forced to quarantine. Officials also say they will continue rigorous cleaning routines to protect the health and safety of all employees and patients.

They are cancelling all non-essential visits to their facility.
