NORTH PLATTE, Neb. 16 teams signed up for the Nebraskaland Days' Cowboy Kickball.

The arena had four different fields which ran simulatneously.

Businesses from around the area like Great Plains Health, Fat Dogs and Coors had teams competing.

The money raised from the tournament goes to a rodeo scholarship at Mid-Plains Community College.

"We charge a small entry fee and that money gets put to Mid-Plains Community College for a rodeo student," said Nebraskaland Days Board Member Michael Phillips.

"We filled it a few weeks ago and we try to tell people to get their team in early if they want to play because it fills up fast. It's a fun event and everybody has a good time."

Thursday night is Nebraskaland Days' Taps and Tunes at the arena pavillion.
