NORTH PLATTE, Neb. KNOPT-TV Day two of the Ford Tri-Motor got underway at the North Platte Regional Airport, where the public gots a bird's eye view of the city while riding on a piece of history.
People of all ages lined up to buy their tickets for the twenty minute flight Friday.
Passengers were given safety instructions by Experimental Aircraft Association volunteers before boarding the plane.
While many chose to fly for various reasons, one man drove all the way from Colorado Springs, Colorado to ride the historic plane.
"The opportunity to sit in a plane like that where every seat is a window seat and you are going slow and you got a fabulous perspective, this is so worthwhile," said Andy Scheer. Glad I came."
The tour wraps up on Sunday before it heads east to Hastings.
