Double Dips Ice Creamery had their ribbon cutting Friday.
Dozens of friends, family members and members of the Chamber were in attendance.
Owner Lori Bergman said she specifically chose Downtown when looking for a place to open up shop.
"I love the Downtown feel. I love the old buildings," said Bergman.
"As you can tell the old tile ceilings are in perfect shape. The floors. It brings you back to the old ice cream shop."
Refined Boutique Owner Shelly Halouska said with the addition of the new businesses, she's seen a lot more people Downtown.
"It's increased the foot traffic of people who have never been in the store before," said Halouska.
"When they grab their ice cream or on their way to grab their ice cream they've been coming in and checking it out and checking out all of the other businesses too. It's been wonderful. There's been a lot of foot traffic down here."
With the closing of stores like ShopKo and Herberger's, it's given people a new shopping experience.
"I hear a lot of people complain that there's not much shopping in town anymore because of ShopKo closing and stuff like that. So, they're looking for other places to go and so Downtown has been really picking up."
