The driver of the Corvette was taken to the emergency room after driving through a stop sign at Philip street and hitting a pickup Monday morning in North Platte.

Rescue crews had to physically remove the driver from the Corvette. North Platte Police Officer Beth Kerr says the driver of the Corvette had to go to the emergency room with minor hand and wrist injuries.

Kerr says the driver of the pick up was not hurt.
