FNB gives over $15,000 to the United Way

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The local United Way is now 63% of its campaign goal. Tuesday, First National Bank gave a check to the Mid Plains United Way for over $15,710.

United Way Executive Director, Alisha Forbes, says each dollar helps thousands of families in North Platte and surrounding communities. "Donations will help children and adults who are facing abuse, families who are hungry, families who are at risk of losing their homes and so much more. You give hope when situations feel hopeless," says Forbes, "It is because of you that your neighbor is given a second chance. We are so proud to call you a part of the United Way family."

The campaign goal is $285,000. Their current fundraising amount is $179,000.
