NORTH PLATTE, Neb. KNOP-TV The second week of NEBRASKAland Days is all about the family.

Hundreds turned to the Wild West Arena for the annual Fun Night.

Families enjoyed free ice cream and cookies, fun jumps, and plenty of fun, games and activities all free of charge.

The two hour event also featured two music acts, including Palestine, Texas Country Singer Justin Todd Herod.

Several local churches joined forces to put on this year's event.

"We got some great churches here in North Platte and we love our community and it's great for us to just do something together as churches and to see all of us come out and just put on something is awesome," said Harvest Christian Fellowship Church Pastor Jeremy Rinke.

The event draws between 1,500 and 2,000 people each year.
