Florida Georgia Line wants to perform in North Platte again

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Crowds of 16,000 filled the Wild West Arena for this past weekend's Nebraskaland Days Concerts. Saturday night, organizers were able to announce Florida George Line was returning to the summer 2018 line up.

Executive Director, David Fudge, says the exact pricing and sales dates will be released later this summer or early fall.

Fudge says they go after the top acts every year. They look at big acts touring the region, especially in June. Fudge says Florida George Line sold out three cycles ago, and they are one of the top grossing tours in the country.

Fudge also says Florida George Line wanted to come back to North Platte.

The duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley recently released their third album, "Dig Your Roots." The two men has a break out hit in 2012 with the mega smash “Cruise.” They have earned three consecutive Vocal Duo of the Year titles from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.

They’ve sold almost 26 million tracks and over 3.5 million albums worldwide. According to their web site, each of their 11 singles has reached platinum or gold status.
