NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Patchy fog in the Greater Nebraska region after a snow storm dumped several inches in the area. Some regional schools in the Sandhills started school late Thursday morning. Morning lows are below zero with wind chills pushing into the negative teens.
The fog is occurring along the Interstate in parts of western Nebraska. Visibility may be less than a mile at times. Weather experts say to expect sudden drops in visibility as fog lingers in the area before improving by late-morning.

Clear, sunny skies and above freezing temperatures are forecast for today. Tonight, clear skies remain and temperatures drop to the low 20s to mid teens.
