Folks rush to grocery stores before storms hit

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Folks all over North Platte are rushing to grocery stores to shop before the storm hits. Grocery stores, like Gary's, were packed Wednesday with people getting last minute food and essential items.

Gary Super Foods employees say they are almost out of weather supplies due to the last couple of storms. With the unpredictable weather, most folks already have the proper weather supplies and equipment they need.

Local residents say they are rolling with the punches. Local resident Bob Hill said, "It'll come, it'll go, I'll move snow tomorrow and it'll all be gone in two, three days. Mother nature, she'll do what she wants to do."

Folks say they will continue to hope for warmer days.
