NORTH PLATTE, Neb. The weather hasn't been conducive to planting flowers. But, people are anxious to get started.
Owner of the Garden Glove Nursery Penny Bellingsley said people should resist starting their gardens.
She claims it's still much too cold for plants to survive outside.
Even though the daytime might seem warmer, you should pay attention to the forecasted temperatures at night as well.
However, it is a good time to begin planning.
"When it is finally time to plant a lot of the plant selections get chosen and things get picked over a little bit faster," says Bellingsley.
"We do have people that will come in and buy what they want- specifically what they want and take them home and baby them until it's time to put them out in the yard."
