Gymnastic season in full swing

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Legacy Dance & Gymnastics hosted six teams in North Platte.

Teams from Kearney, Gothenburg, Douglas Wyoming, and Fremont made the trip to participate with the North Platte team.

Girls got their chance to compete in balance beam, floor, vault, and uneven parallel bars.

Coaches say it's mostly for fun but definitely has that serious edge to.

"More fun but there is some competitive within certain levels definitely. Today, they are competing for a leotard rather than a medal which is something we've done for the last four years so it's kind of fun for them. It's a little bit different," says Shelly Mcnulty, a coach with Legacy Gymnastics.

Congratulations to all these athletes on their impressive work and good luck this year!
