It's a singing group that has a long history in North Platte.
On Sunday, people in the area came out for the Heartland Singers annual Spring concert.
Michael Dowdy still remembers when he sang for President Reagan with the Heartland Singers over 30 years ago.
"They actually took all the instruments and tipped them upside down to make sure there's no bombs and we had to go through security," said Dowdy.
The Heartland Singers are made up a group of people who volunteer their time to put on two shows a year for the public.
It requires a commitment, with the group spending around two months preparing.
Over time, some members have passed away, but members say the one thing that keeps the group together is their love of music.
