NORTH PLATTE, Neb. The town of Hershey had their annual Fall Festival on Saturday.

People from surrounding areas gathered at the park for a barbecue.

Participants feasted on hot buttered corn on the cob, hot dogs, chips and watermelon.

The festival also had games and a car show.

Hershey High School's Cross Country athlete Trissa Wilson said she looks forward to this event each year.

"It's actually my last year because I'm a senior this year so it's my last go around with everything," said Wilson.

"I'm kind of sad but then again I'll probably be home all of the time so I can come back and enjoy it."

Wilson said she enjoys living in a place where everyone is supportive.

"It's nice because everybody shows up to everything. It's not just one sport supporting another, it's everybody. We all go out and support each other."

The festivities end on Sunday with the Rotary Club Pancake Feed at the American Legion at 8 a.m.
