NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP)- The Huskers took down the Missouri Tigers at the Devaney Center on Friday night in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The Huskers won in straight sets with scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-18.
Senior Mikaela Foecke had 16 kills, and moved into fourth on the all-time Huskers kill list. Sophomore Lexi Sun had 11 kills, and Jazz Sweet and Lauren Stivrins each had eight kills.
Nicklin Hames had 37 assists and nine digs, and libero Kenzie Maloney had 12 digs.
The Huskers advance to the regional semi-final, and will play the 10-seed Kentucky WIldcats on Friday.
