Icy conditions to blame for crash on I-80

OGALLALA, Neb. Authorities say that icy conditions are to blame for an early morning crash on I-80 at the Ogallala interchange.

Around 10:30 a.m central time, Nebraska State Patrol responded to an accident between a truck pulling a camper and a semi with an oversized load.

The truck pulling the camper jack-knifed leaving the camper on its side in the ditch.

Traffic continued to flow as normal.

Officials say seat belts were in use at the time and no injuries were reported.

The driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Loai Abuzain-Eddin from Oklahoma and 34-year-old Daniel Townsend from Arizona were both released with no tickets.
