NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - "All In For Christ" is the theme for this years KJLT/KJTF Sharathon. The Christian based radio stations in North Platte are looking for community support.Their annual Sharathon will be taking place for three days.

KJLT/KJTF had an open house Wednesday. They took donations and gave thanks to those that did over the radio. There were groups of volunteers on the phones taking donations.

The ministry is looking to raise the needed funds to operate three Christian stations for another year. General manager Gary Hofer shared why this event is so important. Hofer said, " Well since we're a listener supported ministry, we depend on those gifts from everyone that tunes in and it allows us the opportunity to point the way to Jesus Christ to introduce him to the one who can save us, him alone. And to help people in their Christian walk from day to day.

T-shirts or a Christian movie DVD were offered with suggested donations. Their goal is to raise $306,600 by Thursday.
