Lines moved quickly as locals voted for midterm elections

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - People stood in line to vote at First United Methodist Church Tuesday. Election officials say precinct location really dictates voter turn out. First United Methodist Church is one of the bigger voting sites. By 9:30 a.m there were already 130 people who voted. They expect over one thousand people to vote by the end of the day.

Voting ends at 8 p.m, central time, Tuesday night. Election returns are posted shortly after that.
