Cynthia Huhman began taking business classes in 1986. But, like many people, Huhman soon got married and started her family soon after. Due to the circumstance, she decided to take some time off from education.
Throughout the years she has taken a handful of classes to slowly work toward her degree. However, it was her daughter who told her mom it was time to go full-time and get her degree.
"January of 2019 she's like, 'I'll take classes with you and we're going to get this done.' It feels great to have my kids support me," said Huhman. "It's great to have that support system. My kids are awesome."
Huhman took on 18 credit hours and finished her Associates Degree with two emphases in Business Administration and Marketing as well as a certificate in Leadership.
