NPCC Hosts Annual Santa's Workshop

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Students at North Platte Community College were Santa's little helpers as the college hosted Santa's Workshop.

Admission into the event was a canned food item which will be donated to the Rape/Domestic Abuse Prevention non profit that offers prevention programs for Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Hooker, Thomas and Cherry counties.

This year, NPCC students said they made the games a little harder and a little more competitive.

Kids had the chance to win prizes and candy while also getting to meet with Santa.

"It's fun to watch them compete and get a little bit out of their comfort zone for some of them to play with the little kids but it's fun to see them kinda turn back into little kids," says Rachel Bashor, the Student Activities Coordinator at NPCC.

Santa's workshop also helped collect coats for students at the college.
