Hundreds of people went out to The Westfield Shopping Center to show off their costumes, hand out candy and wave to the crowds.

Lead by the North Platte Police and Fire Departments, kids were sorted by age group. Some even got to walk with the newly crowned Miss Nebraska, Allie Swanson.

Carson Altig, 9 years old, Eden Fletcher, 6 years old, and Brode Denny 9 years olds, dressed up and walked in the parade.

"Well it's fun because we get to come out and have fun with all these people and walk around and have fun," said Denny.

After the parade, there were hot dogs, drawings and meet-and-greets with rodeo queens.
