Nebraskans bundle up before temperatures hit below zero

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Folks in greater Nebraska are bracing for a lot of arctic air and bitter wind chills. Meteorologists issues a Winter Weather Advisory through noon CT Thursday morning.

Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. Wind chills as cold as -35° will be possible at times for the northern portions of the state, with wind chills between -15° and -30° for North Platte. High temperatures on Thursday will range from the single digits, to teens, to around 20°, but most locations will see subzero wind chills throughout the day on Thursday.
