UPDATE: Missing teen found in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A missing North Platte teen was found by her parents overnight Thursday. Maddi Fletcher found walking in the area of 16th and Custer, around 2:40 a.m., and taken home safely. Maddi's family says she is autistic.

Her family reported her missing to police after she went missing from the family's front porch Wednesday evening. Her parents say it's not normal for Maddi to leave her home.

The North Platte Police Department is asking for help locating a 14 year old autistic female, Maddi Fletcher. Maddi was last seen on the front porch of her residence in the 1500 block of east 12th St. She is wearing a dark grey Nebraska Huskers hoodie, black wind pants and black framed glasses. Maddi is 5/9, 115 lbs., blue eyes and brown hair. A photograph is attached. It is out of the ordinary for Maddi to leave her home.
