Nursing graduates receive their pins at NPCC

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - It is graduation season and Friday, some nurses are that much closer to taking their next step in the medical field.

Twenty nine students at North Platte Community College in the Associate Degree Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technician programs received their pin during a pinning ceremony.

According to NPCC, the students pinned were:

Brady – Jenna Cunningham

Culbertson – Kelsey Graham, Brittany Jordan

Grant – Logan Cunningham

Gothenburg – Elizabeth Ostendorf

Lewellen – Jenna Ross

Lexington – Glorisel Alcantar-Alvarez, Magali Ruiz-Martinez

Lisco – Misty Ross

Merna – Cassidy Goodman

North Platte – Hannah Anderson, Ashleigh Cardwell, Rebecca Daniel, Jami Lynn Davis, Sarah Dillenburg, Tiffany Gies, Courtney Gillock, Micaelia Hernandez, Dezarae Herrick, Haylee Medich, Samantha Miller, Natasha Nutt, Amber Rathbun, Ashley Sandoval, Jeanie Sutherland

Ogallala – Jamie Rivas, Skylar Vak

Sutherland – Jocey Nelson

Thedford – Ronda Haumann

Their professor said three of the students were in the top two percent in the nation on their testing.
