NORTH PLATTE, Neb. This is a film that's been taking Nebraska by storm- and it's playing in North Platte.
It's a documentary about a 130 year old sandhills ranch which was produced, directed, filmed and edited by George Joutras.
It features a family who shows what it's like to live and work in such rigorous terrain.
While the patriarchs hold true to the old operations, the younger generations try to push the business into the future.
Fox representative Rajean Shepherd says they've been busy at the box office.
"It's generated a lot of interest in our community. Last night we had attendance over 210," says Shepherd.
"Tonight we're expecting 400- that's without sales at the door. So I'm expecting tonight we'll be well over 500."
The film provides a fun and educational experience for everyone.
The last showing is Sunday at 3 p.m.
