Lexington and other areas of Greater Nebraska hit with record breaking rainfalls and flooding

LEXINGTON, Neb. (KNOP) - Lexington and other areas of Greater Nebraska were hit with record breaking rainfalls and flooding Monday. Over 4.91" of rain were reported at the Lexington Airport. This breaks the July 27, 2017 record of 3.44". Meteorologists say that radar estimates that 4" to 8" of rain has fallen across parts of Dawson, Gosper, and Frontier counties.
