Paying respect to former President George H.W. Bush

Washington D. C. (KNOP) - Thousands of Americans have paid respect to the late former President George H. W. Bush..
People lined up outside the capitol, streaming in throughout the night to view the flag covered casket in the nation's capitol rotunda...Saying goodbye to the 41st President of the United States.
A week of commemoration....the former president arrived for the last time in Washington D.C. Yesterday, brought in to the capitol with honors, and carried in at sunset past an emotional George W. Bush, his son, and himself a former president. A 21 gun salute, and visitation by family, friends, Americans, and current and former world leaders...
His body will lie in state until Wednesday's state ceremony at the National Cathedral. Then, he will be taken to a second ceremony, and his final resting place in Texas, next to his wife and former First Lady Barbara Bush, and his daughter Robin.
