Peg Leg Brewery slated for December opening

North Platte is set to get another brewery.

Peg Leg Brewing is projected to open this December.

It's located on Halligan Drive near the hotels.

Lincoln Highway Diner Owner Daniel Neff will also be putting his name on this project as well.

While he will be handling the business side of the operation, his friend Mike Sullivan will be the creative genius behind the brews.

"He's done it at home brewing for probably fifteen years and commercially for six or seven," said Neff.

"I've had some of his different beers he's made at home. He's been creative with some things and some things I've shrugged my head at but it actually turns out I've been pretty impressed with what he has."

Neff said he believes the location will be attractive for travelers staying in the nearby hotels.
