Three new spaces to create art are now available in North Platte. The Prairie Arts Center has newly finished art studios on their third floor completed and ready for creation.

"Recently, in December, we just opened our third floor here at The Prairie Arts Center, it's kind of been a process where we've opened every floor every two years, so this was our final phase, we're really excited about it," said Executive Director, Holly Carlini.

The studios are accessible for a monthly rental to anyone who wants to create.

"Whether you're a painter or you like to draw, you like to write, anything that allows that creative process to flow," said Carlini, "Anybody that enjoys the creative process or just somebody that's looking to join the art community and have a beautiful space to help them create."

The arts center also has plans to invite people in to the spaces to watch art being created.

"What we're hoping to kind of do in the future is have, maybe twice a year, an open studio so that people that are renting out the studios can open up their space, people will be invited to come in kind of see their process, see them working in action, maybe buy some pieces and just interact with some of the local artists," said Carlini.

One studio is currently being rented out, but the other two are available.

Carlini said to get a tour or more information on these art spaces to call her at the PAC or go on their website to email her.
