Prairie Arts Center in North Platte reopens its doors
For the first time in months, the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte has opened its doors to the public.
The arts center will be operating on a reduced schedule, with doors to the public opened from 11 a.m.-2.p.m. Visitors will be greeted by the newest gallery that is now on display.
"We have a new gallery exhibit, it's the art of recovery. So that's something people can come in and view," said executive director, Holly Carlini.
While the doors have reopened, business has not returned to a full operation at the arts center. Classes, tours and rentals are not being offered for the time being. Executive director, Holly Carlini, said they are hopeful that summer camps will be able to return in some capacity in the coming months.
"Everybody in this community is use to us having kids camps once a week and so that's something that we hope to have and we will plan on having," Carlini said.
