Puppy kisses for a cause

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. PAWS-itive Partners in conjunction with Tractor Supply Co. held the Smooch-A-Pooch fundraiser on Sunday.

People were able to bring their own dogs or have one provided for them to take a picture in a kissing booth.

It was a free will donation and the pictures were free.

While the shelter has plenty of pets ready to be adopted- they brought 8 year old chihuahua Snickers to help with the event.

PAWS-itive Partners representative Lora Wood says Snickers would be a great addition to a loving family.

"He's an 8 year old long haired chihuahua. He's available for adoption through PAWS-itive Partners," says Wood.

"He's been in Foster Care for a couple of months just trying to figure out which kind of home is best for him. He's ok with other dogs. He's ok with cats but he does like to chase them."

Lora says they also have quite a few cats up for adoption as well as a Basset Hound and Heeler mix.
