Report: Nebraska ranks 43rd for best state for military retirees

Press Release (WalletHub) - Nebraska is the 9th worst state for military retirees. That's the findings of a new WalletHub report.

The study looked at 22 different indicators.

Nebraska ranks 26th or lower in veteran job opportunities, percentage of homeless veterans and the number of VA Health facilities per number of veterans.

In the report, the Cornhusker State also ranked 36th in economic environment, 22nd in quality of life and 44th in health care rank.

The best state for military retirees was Florida, followed by Montana then New Hampshire.
