STEM students learning in 3-D

NORTH PLATTE. Neb. High school Juniors and Seniors went on a 3-D adventure this week. It's all thanks to the STEM Camp at North Platte Community College.

The science, technology, engineering and mathematics camp was open to students 16 and older.

Instructor Jared Daily says it's the second year they've offered the three day computer design class. The camp is helping teens realize that STEM is something they actually enjoy.

STEM student Jocelyn Boehle says her passion is art. Knowing the career of an artist can be a struggle, she says this class helped her realize there are various fields of engineering that will help to make a living and maintain her creativity.
