NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP-TV)- Schools find many ways to help students be successful
The Professional Learning Team at North Platte High meets to discuss just that. The school board met tonight to check up on the changes. And now, instead of squeezing in morning meetings, the group is meeting on Wednesday afternoons, It make more sense.

Mornings are for focusing on one-on-one with students, and the afternoon meeting is better for discussing data. Topics teachers discuss include
Behavior data, academic data, social emotional data, and attendance data to discuss what is working and what is not.

"Failure's not an option when it comes for students success so it's just a great time for teachers to problem solve and look at what's working and what's not," said Superintendent Ron Hanson.

Hanson says everyone is seeing a positive impact on student success since the program was implemented in 2016
