NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Tuesday will continue our warming trend with highs building into the upper 80s and even the 90s for a few. We'll see plenty of sunshine through the day with some weak to moderate wind. This evening we could see a few showers and storms try to move through the region with one or two seeing the possibility to become severe.
Sunny skies and dry conditions take us through much of the week. Temperatures will turn hot and dew points will also be on the rise, making things feel a bit more stick and summer-like. Afternoon highs will reach into the 90s in the mid and late week. While sunshine takes us through the day time hours, following the heating of the day, some small chances for overnight thunderstorms will be in the forecast for a few nights, but these chances look rather small and activity will remain isolated.
