Tattoo fundraiser held for North Platte teen who died in car crash

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A tattoo fundraiser was held Friday night for a North Platte teen that died in a car crash.

Sarah Worden of North Platte was killed November 10th when her car rolled on I-80 near Overton.

Sarah's parents Zella and Robert Worden organized a tattoo fundraiser at Red Cloud Tattoo Friday night. There were several pre-designed tattoos you could choose from, one of which Sarah painted before she died.

The tattoos were $25 each and the tattoo artists donated their time and talents to the cause.

The money raised will be going to Sarah's family and Maddie Makenzie's recovery. Makenzie was the teen in the vehicle with Worden.

"I cannot thank Red Cloud Tattoo and all those who came out to support and donate, it really means a lot," said Zella.
