SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) The Lied Scottsbluff Library innovation studio is moving on February 19th. Next stop for the traveling studio is Kimball.
Noelle Thompson, the Library Director showed off some of the cool work that was made on the laser cutter. "Everything from cardboard boxes to wooden trinkets," said Thompson, "these have both been made with the laser printer. No cost at all to the staff member or patron who made this"
The machinery, everything from a 3D printer to an embroidery machine is still available until the move. Certified personnel offer their time to explain the machines and help patrons with projects.
Over one hundred and forty patrons have been certified on the equipment and many of those will display their products. The library is hosting a showcase February 2nd from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
Call the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library if you would like to display your work.
