NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Salvation Army Family Store in North Platte celebrated it's grand re-opening in it's new and more convenient location Monday. The store recently moved it's location from E. 4th street to E. Leota street. The Chamber of Commerce welcomed the stores re-opening with the local community.
Customers were offered refreshments and got to explore the store's new look.
Store officials hope the new location will be more convenient for customers and provide more parking. Store Manager Shawn Melton said, "Everything worked out for the best, we're in the best part of town you can ask for, traffic wise. We've seen a lot of people already and hope to see more, you know."
The Salvation Army Family Store will be celebrating the new location all week with sales and fun games. They will also be accepting donations on the south entrance of the store.
